My wife and I get our share of green vegetables at our house but our kids do not.
Carrots? No problem.
Fruits? Down the gullet.
Spinach? No thank you.
Our attempts at serving a salad have them spooning the ranch dressing like it's a soup and eating all the croutons no matter under what lettuce leaves they may be hidden. Then we started the Green Monster smoothie.
For one adult or two child servings:
1 cup loose spinach leaves
1/2 cup of apple juice
blend for at lease one minute
You can add more banana or spinach but probably not much more apple juice and make sure to blend for at least a minute to get a nice creamy texture.
