Just two more hours, so whatever you gotta do, do it now or god have mercy on your seoul.
Punishments are stricter
Child porn is more illegal
male victims are now technically protected (woo!)
harsher management of convicts
Too little too late for some, but good news for future victims of sex crimes during their stay in Korea! Time will tell if these changes will be enforced in practice or if the whole thing falls flaccid, but it's a step in the right direction for a country whose record with sexual harassment cases is laughable, were rape a laughing matter (which of course, it is most certainly not1).
There seems to be a lot of inter-gender tension in this country which I pity but quite frankly, I also support it. I haven't slept with that many Koreans, so I can imagine how much smaller that number would be if they were sexually satisfying each other. But that is not the case. And when the men whore-monger, the women wander and once in a while, one wanders far enough to fall into the sarlacc pit of foreigner dicks.
And whenever that happens, we (the foreigner hivedick) rejoice over a kebab before returning to our schedule of getting drunk and talking shit about old people and Korean parents.
Hm. I guess there are pros and cons to every law.
