Frequently Asked Question: "Where is a good mountain to hike in Busan?"
The correct answer is "fucking anywhere."
Why else do you see 80 of these bros everytime you leave the house?
Those people were all in one subway car. I just spun around and snapped some pics. And none of that shit is necessary for a "hike" any more than it's necessary for walking up stairs or a wheelchair ramp.
To be fair, there are some mountains that are special, like Seokbulsa or Beomosa. These are more involved treks that take up half a day. They are very popular with hikers and tourists, so be prepared to cross paths with many hiker-bros and old people.
The north half of Busan is basically built on the Geumjeongsan mountain range. If you want to go for a hike, just walk in one direction until you start going "up". You probably won't even have to leave your subway station.
You can have fun just hiking along the paths but I don't recommend it, it's kinda like smoking regs. You can hike all the paths you want but you can only get so high off regs. If you really wanna get high you gotta get that kush. That's what we've been doing for the last few Sundays. Gettin high and eatin snacks.
czech it out
This one's in Geumgok, a subway stop in West Buk-gu with absolutely nothing of interest.
