So last night was my fourth week doing Meatless Monday (credit: Leo). This is my 3rd or 4th time trying to go vegetarian, but is a little different than before. Each time I've failed it's been because I didn't prepare for it or tried to to do much too quickly. Generally I just ate big salads for a week till I was starving/exhausted. It sucked.
This time I'm trying to start with Meatless Mondays. I need to learn how to cook new meals and get excited about stuff that doesn't have meat in it that isn't Twix bars.
So this a thread for two things:
1. What are your favorite meatless meals? (Post the recipe or a link to it).
Hey Tynan, I was wondering if you remember or have analytics for how long it took to get to a 1,000 subscribers? We've been working hard on our blog for a few months now, but, we've both been probably a little bit disappointed with the growth we've achieved. I know that so much of how many hits we get is a direct correlation to how hard I work on the web/fb/twitter, but eventually lord knows I'd like to just have some type of community there that works with us instead of something we fight for.
Anyway, I've been reading Tynan.com for a few years, but I'd like to know more about how it was in the beginning.
I was wondering if anyone here had experience with renters insurance/product insurance. Basically, I just want high-ticket stuff covered: Computer, iPhone, Kindle, etc.
My roommate got robbed last week (ugh, Oakland) and I'm a mix of figuring out how I'm going to defend myself (ugh) or just hand over my stuff if/when it happens to me. As dumb as it sounds, living in Oakland would still be worth it if each time I got robbed I could just hand over everything and not risk getting shot/beat up. (Awesome, right?)
Does anyone use it? Whats your cost per month and deductible? I don't want to pay $10 a month but then have to pay a $500 deductible to get a ~$500 phone back.
