Tynan, you're a very positive guy. You come across as liking people in general, and women too.

Not all PUAs are the same. I was stunned to recently read another PUA's blog applauding a 41-year-old high school teacher - who left his family to shack up with his 18-year-old student - as "Alpha Male of the month," and in another post slamming single moms and their "hellion spawn."

Among PUAs, I'm not sure his beliefs are such a minority.

Even more than the "content" of your blog, which is terrific, I appreciate how you infuse all your reporting with such a sense of positivity and possibility.

Whenever I'm trying to focus on a project, I always have ideas for other stuff to do - offshoots of the work in front of me, or completely unrelated.

Does this happen to you? How do you deal with it? Do you quickly write down or voice record these thoughts for later investigation, or do you have the discipline to cast them aside, trusting that they will reappear if important?
