From delicate embroidery to heavy embellishments, the S/S 14 catwalks are a dazzling array of sequins and jewels. Forget the biker chick look of winter; it’s time to embrace the feminine styling’s of PRADA and Francesco Scognamiglio and sparkle on the streets of England.
This trend is a personal favourite of mine; by adding a touch of sparkle you can take almost any outfit from day to night with ease. Whether you want to go for a subtle chunky jewelled necklace or take jewels in your stride with a beautiful embellished midi skirt, this trend is workable for anyone and allows you to feel glam without being overdressed. Some designers took the trend one step further, covering their model’s faces with glitter and giving them a mystical and magical allure. Maybe not perfect for the high street but definitely transferable within your brightening Spring make up!

What makes the perfect dress?
The world's most talented designers are currently showcasing at London Fashion Week and I wanted to take the time to rave about my favourite collections so far. Of course with so many to choose from it hard going, but the 'runway ready' bunch show classically beautiful designs which can be incorporated into everyday wear. Check out the LFW highlight so far here
An absolute favourite designer of mine, Zeynep Kartal showed off her AW 14 collection at London Fashion Week and without a doubt they left the adoring crowds heads swooning for more.
Ultra femine, and a play on golden, creams and the metalic look created an edgy 'high end' beautifully crafted collection.
Zeynep's dresses of course took centre stage, but this collection also included jumpsuits, trousers and tailored blazers which would add glamour to any evening/day outfit.

Valentine's Day is a day to show your partner how much you love them, and this year was a special one for me and my husband as it was the 10th anniversary of our very first date.
I was 19 at the time, he was 23 and we had been working together at a large law firm in Manchester for 8 months before he plucked up the courage to ask me out on a date.
Thinking about it now, I still can't believe that was way back in 2004! This year, to celebrate 10 years together, we wanted to do something special but couldn't decide what to do, and then I spotted a competition running on the @A_Listed Twitter page to win a Valentine's night out at Lola Lo in Manchester.
Quirky, tongue in cheek and controversial - tell us more about how you started in the world of fashion?
My first project was designing the clothing for my Jack Shh music video, it was enthralling, I found that by taking a lyric and a concept I could display my internal thoughts outwardly and create clothing without fashions' shallow connotations. In a world where everything becomes a statement it's important to actually be saying something!
You have a strong celebrity following including Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rita Ora - what do you think draws them to your collection?
I often wield a giant magnet, it can get dangerous sometimes, especially near lamp posts.
I happened to be out shopping on the weekend and came across a beautifully embroidered silk top from Zara. You know the feeling, you see it, you love it, you have to buy it! By the time I had made my way over to the shoe section I realised that my top, although beautiful, was also very 'backless'. In fact I have so many clothes that require a strapless, backless bra that I choose to leave them hanging 'isolated' in my wardrobe for what seems an eternity.
I had yet to find myself a strapless bra which felt natural and above all 'comfortable'. With so many on the market, I have been guilty of ordering over the internet and being so disappointed with the product. A few weeks back I got sent the 'InvisiBra' by LavaLia London - often the skeptic I decided to give this one a go and I was taken back by how great this invisible bra is. Easy to put in to place, natural, incredibly comfortable and the best thing about it is confidence to wear anything I want without the stress of visible bra straps being on show.
So how does it feel on? You might want to check out the Lavalia London video which features ballerinas and butterflies - watch it here. It celebrates the freedom and the beauty of the transformation that women feel when wearing their InvisiBra’s. As the ballerinas dance energetically, watch as the InvisiBra’s demonstrate their ability to withstand the most complex movements and show just why they have become a staple item in every woman’s wardrobe. The InvisiBra is a revolutionary self-adhesive, backless and strapless bra that stays put all day whilst lifting and enhancing cleavage.
Originally developed in response to requests from clients for lingerie solutions to strapless and bare-backed tops, Lavalia London have created a bra that not only gives women the support they want and need, but is also soft to the touch and comfortable to wear. Made with medical silicone and self-adhesive glue that is designed to regenerate itself, each bra can be reused again and again up to 100 times so long as they are rinsed with tap water, air dried and kept in a dust-free environment. Designed with femininity and beauty in mind, the InvisiBra’s are also covered with exquisite fabrics and lace, making them attractive as well as functional. Visit Lavalia London for more on where to buy this fabulous invisible bra.
The UK isn't exactly known for sunshine and rainbows. Lately all we seem to be seeing is rain, rain and you guessed it, more rain. I don't know about you, but I find it massively embarrassing when my umbrella decides to do the acrobatic flip - you know what I'm talking about right?
I went on the search for three umbrella's which looked good but were also made to withstand 'good old British weather'. This brolly-tastical trio also happened to be my best 'pals' during our 100mph winds so trust me when I say they are good quality...

Fun, sturdy and pretty cute if I say so myself. Not only does my son absolutely love this brolly, but I become a big kid when I pop it out of my handbag.
Dark, sultry and dangerously seductive. There is something incredibly enchanting about 'Eustratia'. Like something out of a fairy tale, designer Stacy Mavrou talks about her collection as a clash between fashion, fetish and art.
Beautifully handmade, with the ultimate attention to detail, Stacey works with latex amongst other fabrics to produce wearable and unique pieces.
At the age of 3, Stacey was taught to sew by her Greek Grandmother, also a seamstress. The name of her collection 'Eustratia' also resonates with her Greek heritage meaning 'good' or 'right' path.
Her talent passion and ambition grew over the years - Stacey recalls how she simply had her bedroom floor as a studio and a grant from the Princess Trust which enabled her to pave her career as a reputable Manchester based designer.
Nestled away in the heart of Cheshire, Didi's Boutique established in 2013 is a fashion hot spot for eye catching, on trend and super cute outfits. From the funky floral midi skirt to the sexy LBD, Didi's Boutique has it covered.
The dynamic duo and super Mum's working behind the scenes, Anna Mansoor and Marie Giovanni know all too well the dedication and commitment needed to run a successful business.
Anna recalls the very beginning of her fashion venture when she started to stock and sell clothes on Facebook and Ebay. It wasn't long before her home resembled that of a mini production factory and with that said she partnered with Marie to grow her business further.
Didi's Boutique was only established last year but has already come leaps and bounds. The next step was to relocate to a central location and work from an office in Hale Village, Cheshire.
Both Anna and Marie work between school runs by 'appointment only' to allow customers to browse in a relaxed environment, without the pressure to buy and catering to all budgets,
A-listed Club Cirque Le Soir
Rihanna and Drake went public with their romance, by publicly smooching into the early hours at debauched, A-list club Cirque Le Soir. The pop minx - who wore an enormous S&M padlock around her neck - took her new love to enjoy a sneak preview of the outrageous acts who will perform at the venue's £500K Frat Party installation to celebrate its fourth anniversary next week.
Who better to judge the exclusive haunt's forthcoming, debauched American House Party theme than the queen of outrageous partying herself? The pair were treated to the world's most extraordinary performers, flown in ahead of the two-week installation, which will see the country's top set designers transform its circus interior into an elaborate American House party, complete with kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms for guests to explore. The eye-watering preview of acts - unveiled to the public next week - will include terrifying, morbidly-obese clown Monty Le Boom in a bath full of Baked Beans, cross-dressing Prom Queens, contorting cheerleaders, Stiffler’s nymphomaniac mum and football jocks performing death-defyng tricks.
The couple fuelled speculation that they are secretly an item, with a series of recent dates. But the X-rated and wild entertainment at Cirque was a far cry from their more sedate, fine-dining rendezvous at posh Amsterdam and London restaurants, and the twosome accordingly, became less guarded about their exploits. The last "date" that Ri took to the Soho nightspot was Cara Delevingne.
