It's 3pm, and some wonderful person has just brought in a box of doughnuts. They are not even for your department, but you feel somewhat entitled to the promise of a sugar rush. Quick! What do you do?! In the case of our contributor, Danielle, she sought support from a fellow Wellness Committee member, Kim, who encouraged her to fight the temptation and eat her yogurt! Motivation from others is a great tool to have in your arsenal against unwanted empty calories.
Remember to take the time to prepare yourself to make loving choices when it comes to your wellness. If you need to lay out your entire gym outfit tonight to get up in the morning to go to the gym, do it! Your heart will thank you for it. Happy Valentine's Day Eve!
