So it's a bit late, but I haven't really had the time to post on the blog since the semester started -_- . However, enjoy!!(?)
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso:
Continuing from last season, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso made it's way up to be potentially one of my top 3 favourite animes of the year! This tear-jerking laugh-invoking BEAUTIFUL piece of art caught my attention first because I knew my boyfriend likes the piano. I thought, "hey it may not be half bad." But boy was I wrong, this anime is so interesting and every episode that comes out has so much more to offer. I am definitely glad Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is longer than the (expected) 12 episodes.
Well, madhouse has done it again, creep the shit out of me that is... While Death Parade will probably not make my top 5 favourite animes of the year, it's certainly up there. I love the idea behind it and the story! It creeps me out, but that makes it all the more enticing to download the next episode and watch it. I'm still not sure what to make it of it, really... I feel I need to watch all of the episodes (once they all come out of course) to have a legit opinion on it.
Tokyo Ghoul RootA:
Yes, I see you all talking shit about the second season of Tokyo Ghoul. and I say, "YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT." Ok, so i'm bias~~ Sue me! The first season of Tokyo Ghouls is EASILY my favourite anime of the season and, potentially, ever. Now, I understand that the plot seems to have been developing mega-slowly and it's a bit hard to tie it all back to the first season at first. That, however, keeps me wanting to watch the next episode, and the next, and the one after that~~ I believe that TG RootA has a huge potential to get on the same level as the first season, and I do expect that much. So far, I am still waiting for the "BANG," but I'm still excited to wait for each upcoming episode to come out. Let's hope I'm not disappointed!
Man, season 2 or Durarara, I thought that would never happen. Guess what, though? You won't believe it! There is MORE people for you to get to know!! Now, I am a very big fan of the first season of Durarara, and honestly, I don't know what to expect from this season. I'm not exactly loving it like a did Durarara, but I'm not exactly disliking it either. It's just like watching another Durarara, with MORE people. But, that IS what it is, isn't it?
I am also a HUGE fan of the monogatari series! Granted, I haven't watched Nisemonogatari yet.. Don't get on my ass about it, ok?? I will! Someday~ Anyhow, Tsukimonogatari was so much fun to watch. To be honest though, I couldn't finish it in one sitting, even though I tried. The monogatari series has not failed to confuse and/or entertain me, and I am more than looking forward to Kizumonogatari!
