Boy, I'll have to pick up the pace in spacing posts to get a following, but at least one thing I always want to do is FOLLOW THROUGH.
This will be a short and sweet swatch of MAC's Mineralized Rich Lipstick in "Good Taste", again in daylight (early evening) and indoor (halogen) lighting, this time without any modifications to the color, as the camera used really brought out the colors as I saw them.
I see it as an ever so lighter pink fuchsia than the MAC "Relentless" lipstick, not poppy-ish (meaning red toned) at all. Note that the texture is creamier than the regular MAC lipstick line, especially the two I previously swatched. It's very comfortable to wear, and though I didn't test for time (all day, eating, etc.), it stayed on pretty well during the evening (at least three to four hours with no change.)
And here it is under halogen, indoor evening light. Yes, VERY different look! A more subtil, pinkish orange effect. Anyone else have such drastic changes in color from daylight to indoor lighting?
Ladies, iike numerous online or in-person Makeup Artist's (MUA) have likely said, please prepare your makeup as close as you can in the conditions where you'll be wearing it, especially if you have indoor evening events. I know this is basic, but lighting effects the color we see!
Be blessed & enjoy the shine (did I forget to mention this Mineralized Rich lipstick is not matte as the other two were, so a lipgloss or any other shine product isn't necessary. It has a nice simple shine.)
PS. Sorry, I didn't compare lip pencils, but used the NYX Lipliner Pencil in 845 Hot Pink. It was virtually an exact match and worked great with this lipstick.
