What exactly is wealth?
Would you like a wealthy abundant life? What would that feel like?
What if you felt stressed out and worried about money? What what that feel like?
What's the difference between these two feelings, it's the amount of money you have right? Not necessarily.
Wealth is a feeling. That's it. The reason you imagine feeling gratitude when you imagine being rich is because you imagine appreciating the things in your life. Not because you have the things in your life. But because you appreciate having them.
As I'm sure you've experienced, you can feel very grateful and feel very wealthy with little money.
Is money better than wealth?
Would you like to feel grateful for the life you have, and to experience all the great wealth in your life?
Would you like more money?
You can have both of these things, but more money doesn't actually give you the feeling of wealth in most cases. That's not an excuse for you not to make more money, that's just how it works. If you want more money, then make more money.
If you'd like gratitude and wealth in your life as well as money, you can have that almost regardless of how much money you make. Once your basic needs are met, they just aren't linked.
If wealth is a feeling, how do I have wealth?
Everyday, be grateful for the wealth in your life. It's that simple. It will totally transform your experience of the world.
You can write what you are grateful for in a 'Gratitude Journal' every day. Or do like I do, and simply go for a walk each day and think on the things that make your life rich. Think of just a few things, and as you walk, let the feeling of gratitude sink in, then look around and realise how luck you are. That easy.
If wealth and money are separate things, why not have both ;)
