That's the most common advice given by writers to those asking for the advice. You have to sit down and do the work. It doesn't matter if its: only 15 minutes a day; only one day a week; a word count; or a page count. Writers write. Those who want to write...well, are wanna be writers. I know, I've been both.Today marks a new year (my birthday) and with it a renewed commitment to getting in and doing the work necessary to transform my self from a wanna be back into a writer.
There are a ton of reasons, such as me being in a much better place in my life (true by the way), but this is not really the place for that. I'm sure every writer has reasons as to why they can and do write just as every wanna be writer has reasons why they can't and don't write. Mine, I'm sure, are not unique.
What is unique is my voice and the content I create. That's what this blog is about. If you'd like to know more you can look me up all over the internet (my name is pretty unique). I have an author's page on Amazon. I have a Smashwords page. I have a podcast as well...although its being re-branded as I prepare to release new and improved content (more on that later).FIN
