We often talk about times in the near future when we will no longer have the religious freedoms that we have today. We discuss our opinions about it and what we would and would not do if it ever really happened. What we fail to understand is that something can't be taken if it's freely given away. We think that this "normal" christian life is the way we're suppose to live. What we don't realize is that Christ called us to preach the Gospel to every nation. Not only that, but He also says this,
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV
Look around, to be living in one of the most liberated countries on planet Earth, we sure are failing at doing what Jesus said would follow those who believe. Think about it, christians lay down their lives everyday for what we can do freely! People are hungering and thirsting after something that is worth while. They don't know what they are missing if they're never told. They don't know! How will they know unless we step out and tell them. It's not just one of us, it's not just half of us, but it's all of us! We are called to be messangers of God! It isn't a talent that you have to have. It's not a divine gift that you have to fast and pray day and night for. It's something that should come naturally as a christian. Yet, we as humans have forgotten that Christ had compassion on the multitudes and stayed with them even when He was tired. He was MOVED with COMPASSION! I think it's about time that we become moved with compassion and spread the Gospel to those who need it most. I'm not meaning to sound pushy or over the top, but Christ is coming back soon for a spotless bride. Are we ready for whats ahead? Are the people of this Earth ready? Please pray and ask God to change your hearts desires. Ask Him to give you a boldness to speak and spread His Gospel. Christ died for you, so why wouldn't you live for Him?
