Thankfully . . .

On Where Pianos Roam

I just wanted to put in a quick post today.  Here in America, today is Thanksgiving.  The entire country stops for a day and gets together with family and friends.  It is a time to give thanks. For me, it is always good to take stock of the people and things in your life that feed your soul and sustain your spirit.

To be grateful is to love and be loved.

Right off the top of my head (and with zero editing), I wanted to practice my typing skills (averaging around 60 wpm lately) and write 50 things for which I am grateful.

I wanted to bypass the awkward baby-blog phase and so I decided to actually map out what I was going to post about before I posted about it... A novel idea for me indeed. Many people break into their new blogs by posting. This dude I know does this 'post every day for a month' deal, but actually when you read his posts they are there, but they really lack any sort of inspiration and you leave feeling like you've wasted your time.

So what is a newbie to do?

I've settled for taking a generic 100 theme challenge which is generally used as art prompts, but instead of doing something artyI'm just going to make blog posts that in some obscure way relate to the themes. I hope that by the end of this I'll have settled into some sort of a blogging style. I've decided to have new posts every Tuesday and Thursday so that I can start falling into a sort of a routine. So if I can keep this up, then I should be covered for blogging topics until some time next year. The themes will happen in a random order, but here is the list:
