Renewal time didn't roll around so much as it was shat on us without warning. We were notified last Thursday that our applications, evaulations, and recommendation forms are due Friday. 8 days notice.
Korean communication standards as usual. My coteacher denied any knowledge until Monday afternoon, just as I'm packing up to go. Passive aggressive cunt that she is, I have no idea if she intends to write me a recommendation letter or if she's just going through the motions just to screw me as a surprise later.
The application itself is mostly taken care of by her. I just need to write down my information, and choose to apply to change schools. Seems simple, as my application must be submitted electronically. However, I do not have three evaluations.
To rectify this, I have to teach a 4th grade lesson in front of the principal, vice principal, and head teacher on Thursday. Since 4th grade has completed the textbook and we have been doing essentially the same lesson for the last month, my lesson will have to be planned from scratch. Even so, it'll still be more or less the exact same topic and key language.
But wait, there's more. Instead of focusing on making this lesson plan, It is of 'emergent priority' that I create a lesson plan with my CT's fluffy lesson plan template for the admin to gawk over. Who in their right mind would waste such a colossal amount of fucking time with any real lesson?
