Beloved http://sett.com/beloved A Christian Blog en-us Mon, 23 Sep 2019 03:02:21 +0000 http://sett.com Sett RSS Generator Unwordable http://sett.com/beloved/unwordable Sin separates us from God. Even after we repent there are still the after effects of our sin. It’s like an earthquake. The ground shakes and things are ruined, even after the earthquake has finished there are still smaller tremors that shake the ground beneath that can continue to cause damage. When we fall into sin it ruins our relationship with God. It severs our time of intimacy with shame and a heart that feels unworthy to worship God. Even when you try to push past those thoughts our hearts still feel restrained. It’s not until we have an intimate encounter with God that all the bad things wash away. We have to be vulnerable and open for God to wipe us clean. We have to be willing to open ourselves even though we fear rejection that we’ve gone one sin too far, despite knowing what God’s word says. That inward feeling that we just can’t bring ourselves to want to run back to God because we failed once more. Yet Jesus, He is so loving and so wonderful, He gives more grace and draws us right back to Him. His sweet and precious Holy Spirit comes and rests on us and embraces us. Running over and through us like warm comforting waters. What did we do to deserve this kind of love? Nothing. We’ve done everything to reject Him, yet He continues to pursue. He never stops pursuing! Then I look back at us, and think, what is wrong with us that we don’t just completely melt in His embrace. When He opens His big comforting arms and welcomes us back like that prodigal son. It’s overwhelming to think about. There really aren’t words to even describe how I think about His love. It’s unique, one of a kind, and as I’ve heard a young child say, it’s “unwordable .”

He is Wonderful http://sett.com/beloved/he-is-wonder He is beautifully wonderful in every single way. He holds my hand to guide me everyday. He holds me close and never lets me go. He desires every ounce of my attention. And why? I am lowly, and He is holy. He made me from His love just so He could give me love and accept my love. Through His eyes I am seen as a beautiful creation. A creature from His own heart. He walks right beside me all day long, guiding me and encouraging me. When I wake in the mourning He looks at me and reminds me that I am His. He tells me the mirror doesn't define who he created me to be. The mirror is just a reflection. He looks deep into my heart and tells me of the future. He takes my hand and writes every promise on it. He tells me every time I doubt His love or promises to lift my hand and read of the untold treasure He has in store. He takes me into the heavens and shows me stars He created just for me. He brings me close to them and tells me every time I look at the stars to remember how He created them just to remember His love by. He takes me to a meadow filled with dancing flowers. He tells me that all the flowers dance to the song of His heart. The song of His love for me. They dance and twirl carelessly in the wind not holding anything back. He looks at me, takes me by the hand and we dance among the flowers. He smiles and just stares at me. His love overpowers me and I just fall deeper in love. His grace and beauty overtake me. We sit and talk for hours. He listens to my likes, my dislikes, my pain, my joys, and my heart breaks. We laugh, we cry, we sing, and we dance. He tells me how He longs to hear my voice in the mornings. He tells me that His heart bubbles over when I sing songs of love to Him. He says when I worship He can't contain himself. He longs for the day when we will be together for eternity. He's taken away all of the pain I used to feel. All of it's gone. I used to feel weighed down, but He said He can handle anything so I gave it to Him. I told him I was scared about giving my heart away. He looked at me with so much love and care. He said you have no need to worry, give it to me and I will keep it safe. I was hesitant, but His embrace reassured me. I handed it to Him and He looked at it. His eyes lit up with excitement. He looked so happy. I couldn't help but smile and giggle. He said this means the world to me and I love your heart so much. I don't want anything to ever happen to it. As long as I have it, it will always stay safe. I trusted Him so much. I knew what He said was a promise. I just want to stay here in this moment with Him forever. I don't ever want to leave. His love is so kind, unlike anything I've ever felt before. All He wants is me. Not the "me" everyone else sees. The me He created. He told me I could stay with him forever in this place. He said it would be difficult but it could be done. He told me as long as I trust Him I would remain in this place. It was so sweet, so gentle. The sweetest kindest purest love I've ever tasted. Better than the movies, better than life. This place here in his arms, here I find rest, joy, His love. He told me all I had to do was abide. Just abide in His love.

Can You Feel It? http://sett.com/beloved/can-you-feel-it My last post was about a shifting that God had spoken to me about back in June. Since then, and honestly just recently, I have been feeling that something is really different spiritually. I know in my own personal life, God has broken off some things that kept me from getting closer to Him and He's been showing me more in the spirit. I do believe that we are entering into something that is indescribable.

Speaking of indescribable, on New Years Eve some friends of mine get together and pray in the new year expectant for God to speak a word over the upcoming year. When God spoke about this year this is what He said, "For us to keep the hunger, desire, and ambition this year and He will carry us to places and to do things that we have never seen before."

After this word, I usually go searching on the internet for any other words that may have ben given over the new year from trusted prophets of God. A few that confirmed the word given was from Kenneth Copeland (the link here: http://www.kcm.org/read/prophecies/09-30-2016/2017-year-of-fabulous-outpourings-from-heaven) . Not only did Kenneth Copeland give a word saying that this would be the year that we would see things we've never seen before, but Judy Jacobs did at Winter Ramp 2017 (the link here: http://www.theramp.org/media/1217-monday-10-am-message-winter-ramp). I believe God has big plans for this year, and I plan on being a part of it.

We need to make sure even before we see God moving that we are praying, fasting, and studying God's precious word. Draw near to Him and spend as much time with Him as possible. He desires to just talk with us. A beautiful scripture that I have been leaning on lately is James 4:5, it says "Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? (NKJV)

God yearns for us jealousy! All He wants is us! Just give Him your everything, your heart, your treasure, and He will take it above and beyond your doubts and desires.

God Bless!

Shift http://sett.com/beloved/shift Recently, I attended the Summer Reformation conference in Cleveland, TN. Can you say hunger and zeal? When I tell you hundreds of youth and adults were filled with the baptism, bondages were broken of suicide, and depression was removed, I am not exaggerating. God's glory was present and very real. It was a conference to stir and awaken the complacent.

Every service was absolutely amazing, but Sunday topped them all. They formed a fire tunnel, in which prayer warriors lined up paralleled to each other and you walked through and was prayed for until you made it to the end. Most did not make it to the end before the glory fell heavely on them. At the end of that service a young feller came to the stage with a message from God.

Now before I get into that message I want to let you in on something the Lord spoke to me a couple of weeks ago. I was cleaning up and the Lord laid a heaviness on me to go and pray. I didn't know why so I went into my room and started praying. I prayed and prayed wondering and pondering why the heavy burden. Then all of the sudden the Lord spoke, He said "Something is about to shift." After that the heaviness was lifted and I thought on what the Lord had just spoken to me. In my spirit I knew the Lord was about to change some things spiritually and in the natural. Nothing more was revealed to me than the words spoken.

Now I can get back to the conference. During a portion of the conference Karen Wheaton got up and spoke and she began talking about shifting in the spirit and then The Ramp's Chosen did a drama to a song called Shift. I looked at my mother wide eyed and said "That's exactly what the Lord spoke to me." (I told her what God had spoke prior to the conference) Praise the Lord for confirmation. Then the word came from the feller on Sunday. God said, "Don't get lost in transition, I am removing the things hindering you in your walk." DOUBLE CONFIRMATION! What!? I was baffled.

I say all that to say this, though our circumstances and the Earth seems to be filled with turmoil and tribultion, God's got a plan. The Bible says in Phillipians 4:8

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." (NKJV)

Our generation is filled with death, perversion, and rebellion, but we cannot allow our minds to be consumed with the things going on in the world. We have to stay motivated and encouraged. God is about to pour out His Spirit as spoken in the book of Joel. We have to keep our vision focused on God's glory and His presence. Stay hungery and zealous. Don't let this world quench the all consuming fire of God. Rejoice! Lift your voices, God is coming soon! He loves each and everyone of us dearly and just wants us to love Him back. Also, I'm asking for specific prayer over our land and our generation. A prayer of awakening, a prayer for complacency to be removed from our lives, and for a generation to be radically changed and to never look back.

I recommend watching the drama Shift by the ramp/chosen. I have attached the YouTube video below. Thanks and God bless!

The Testing of Time http://sett.com/beloved/the-testing-of-time Many of us have received promises from God and we are waiting for the promise to come to pass. We try to sit patiently with our legs crossed and our hands folded in our laps like good children, but time proves to make waiting difficult. Especially, when you know what's been promised and the prize is within sight.

All of us struggle with patience in our lives. It's not the fact that we don't trust God to fulfill it, it's the fact that we don't want to wait anymore. It's the same as promising a young child that when they get older we will buy them a car and teach them to drive. The child becomes impatient and begins to demand that we teach them now because we made them a promise. Knowing inside ourselves that if we were to allow the young child to start driving, not only would they hurt themselves, they probably would hurt others also. Being the responsible adults we are, only wanting the best for the child, we refuse to allow them to drive. The child at that moment doesn't understand why we would promise them something and then not allow them to do it. Although later(much later), they would realize that it was only for their benefit.

God is the same way. He gives us promises so that we can pray and prepare ourselves for the time that the promise is fulfilled. He understands that if He fulfills that promise too early certain people or things in our life may not be lined up with God at the moment. Then everything would be messed up and we would end up not being prepared and then get upset with God because He didn't wait until everything was ready. Crazy how that works, huh?

Psalm 139 explains that God knows everything and that He even knows our thoughts afar off. There is nothing in life that goes unnoticed by God. So, the next time we become impatient and want our promise fulfilled right now remember that God isn't keeping it from you to make you upset He is doing it for our own good. Let's make it our priority to prepare ourselves and pray that God helps us to understand why we are waiting and how we can prepare ourselves in this season.

The best thing about being in a season is that seasons don't last forever, they stay for a short while and then leave making room for a new season to begin in our lives.

Mucho Amore,

Kelsey Green

Sons & Daughters http://sett.com/beloved/sons-daughters Yesterday, my family and I attended Evangel Temple in Jacksonville, FL to hear Perry Stone preach. We were unable to attend the night service so I knew I had to watch it live online. Towards the end of the teaching, Stone, said something that really stirred my spirit. He told us to turn to Acts 2:17, and then to Joel 2:28. He brought to our attention two very different key words in these scriptures, Although, they are both spoken by the prophet Joel, Peter changed the words that was spoken by the prophet to prophesy something new. Acts speaks of in the the last days these things shall happen, but Joel is speaking and saying that afterwards these things shall come. Joel Prophesied about the day of Pentecost and the disciples being filled with the Spirit, Peter knowing these things and being filled with the Spirit prophesied again saying that it would happen again in the last days. After Stone taught on this subject he began to explain how God had been speaking to him telling him that it's time for the sons and daughters. That shook me loose, the very thing that God had been speaking to Perry Stone about is the very thing that I have been seeing and desiring in my heart. God has spoken to me many times about my future. He has spoken on how I would speak to my generation and He has really set my heart on fire to see the sons and daughters shake themselves from the normal and fall in love with Christ. He has given me messages that I would never have imagined I would receive, but it all lines up with the word Stone gave. It's amazing how God confirms the desires of our hearts and the things He speaks to us through other people.

Not only that, New Years Eve night, the church we now attend gathered around to pray the new year in. A message was given in tongues and it was interpreted. God said that this is the year He has been waiting for. He has been waiting for this year to make things happen and move things forward. He proclaimed that this was the year of fire! He spoke saying that many would be saved this year, but we had to prepare ourselves so that we could be used. He was very serious about preparing ourselves. This is a critical year for everyone. Many people will be won to Christ, but if we aren't prepared, how on Earth can we lead people to Him?

As the body of Christ, please be preparing yourself! Even if you are skeptical that what God spoke was true, pray and ask God to confirm it. Either way, Jesus is coming back and there will be a last day revival. Prepare and stay prayed up! Please keep me in your prayers, I need all of the prayers that I can get!

Blessings,

Kelsey Green

The Jesus Movement http://sett.com/beloved/the-jesus-movement2 We often talk about times in the near future when we will no longer have the religious freedoms that we have today. We discuss our opinions about it and what we would and would not do if it ever really happened. What we fail to understand is that something can't be taken if it's freely given away. We think that this "normal" christian life is the way we're suppose to live. What we don't realize is that Christ called us to preach the Gospel to every nation. Not only that, but He also says this,

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18 NKJV

Look around, to be living in one of the most liberated countries on planet Earth, we sure are failing at doing what Jesus said would follow those who believe. Think about it, christians lay down their lives everyday for what we can do freely! People are hungering and thirsting after something that is worth while. They don't know what they are missing if they're never told. They don't know! How will they know unless we step out and tell them. It's not just one of us, it's not just half of us, but it's all of us! We are called to be messangers of God! It isn't a talent that you have to have. It's not a divine gift that you have to fast and pray day and night for. It's something that should come naturally as a christian. Yet, we as humans have forgotten that Christ had compassion on the multitudes and stayed with them even when He was tired. He was MOVED with COMPASSION! I think it's about time that we become moved with compassion and spread the Gospel to those who need it most. I'm not meaning to sound pushy or over the top, but Christ is coming back soon for a spotless bride. Are we ready for whats ahead? Are the people of this Earth ready? Please pray and ask God to change your hearts desires. Ask Him to give you a boldness to speak and spread His Gospel. Christ died for you, so why wouldn't you live for Him?

Fearless http://sett.com/beloved/fearless Overpowering thoughts trudge through your mind. You're not sure they will ever find there way out. You try hard to get your mind on a different subject, but every time you try, the fear comes rolling back in. Opening your Bible and praying for relief, you open right to Psalm 118:6.

The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6 NKJV

The words run off your lips bringing comfort and hope. With eyes closed you talk to your Father, "I've been struggling so long, I feel like I've only been hitting dead ends. If I had only come to you first. I need You're help. You are Love, the perfect Lamb of God. The only one that can make me fearless."

In that moment God speaks to you. "Come a little closer, let me hold your hand. We will overcome this together. You are not alone. I will always walk beside you, no matter what the storm may be. Just come to me and lay it down at my feet. I will take you through it."

A smile comes to your lips and joy fills your body. You stand up and raise your hands to the heavens, "I can do this, because You will walk with me! You are on my side! I AM FEARLESS!"

Thankfulness http://sett.com/beloved/thankfulness VeggieTales Christmas CD playing, hot cocoa with mint and cream waiting to be sipped, and an expectancy for little footsteps to come running through the back door. This is definitely the kind of Thanksgiving I love to have. Yummy food has been enjoyed most of the day and now round two with my niece and nephew is about to begin. I think I'm more excited than they are. I wanted to make today special for them since they already had their Thanksgiving meal with the other side of the family. So, me and Jesus had an idea to make them a yummy delicious cup of peppermint hot cocoa. I can't wait for them to get here so we can put the cream on and dig in. I love them little ones so much. That's the same way Jesus is with us. He loves us and is excited when we spend time with Him, just enjoying His presence. Just think about how excited He must get whenever we pray for something and it is His will to give it to us. I bet He gets even more excited than I am right now. He loves us with all of His heart and He loves to see us smile. So this season, remember to spend time with the One who gives you all the blessings that you have.

Blessings,

The Supernatural http://sett.com/beloved/the-supernatural A topic that has really been resting on my heart lately is the topic of supernatural miracles. I am a big Sid Roth, Steve Hill, and Benny Hinn fan. They are willingly being used by God to do the miraculous! It's absolutely amazing! Thousounds get healed when they pray for them. Sometimes all they have to do is say your healed, and God heals them on the spot! I've seen many crusades on the internet where blinded eyes were opened, the deaf ears were opened, the lame were walking, and so on and so forth. When I see those things it places a hunger and excitment in me that I can barely control! My biggest desire is to be used to do those very same things.

I know for a fact that some people will probably read this and think, "God doesn't move like that anymore," or "Why would God use you?" I'll tell you why...

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 KJV

There you go.. That's why I know for a fact that God will use ANYONE that believes on Jesus! That was spoken right from Jesus Himself!

Don't doubt what God can do. Don't put Him in a box and tell Him what He is and isn't allowed to do. That's exactly what we're doing whenever we don't believe that God can do the miraculous!

I dare you to try it! Do you have an impossible situation that your needing God to step into? Do you have cancer??? A tumor? Are you Deaf? Clef lip? Paralized? No legs at all? I'm telling you, nothing is too small for my God! For heavens sake, He spoke and told Lazareth to come forth from the grave! More than that, He conquered death!!!!!! He Himself rose from the dead to forgive you of the sins you've commited! If He can do all those things, imagine what He can do with your situation. Don't let your doubts hinder what God really wants to do in your life.

I dare you to just try it. I have full confidence that My God, Jesus Christ will not let you down!

He will go above and beyond anything you could ever imagine. Just step out, and ask.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18 KJV

God is no respector of persons.. What He did for Lazareth, the woman with issue of blood, the 10 lepers, He can do for you.

Blessings,

Kelsey Green
